Odette Moon MRICS
Senior Valuer
Odette Moon qualified as a Chartered Surveyor (Fine Arts & Chattels division) in 1988. She joined Drummond Read Associates as a general valuer in 2000 having spent 5 years in Auction Houses and 7 years with a company of Loss Adjusters.
Odette has worked on a variety of high profile cases involving complex issues relating to items damaged or stolen during the 1991 Gulf War, losses in transit, civil and criminal litigation matters. She is also able to provide valuations from single to multiple items lost stolen or damaged on behalf of private clients.
Her experience gained as a loss adjuster and valuer has been invaluable for her work with Drummond Read providing technical knowledge on losses involving antiques. She can offer specialist advice to insurance companies, loss adjusters, the police and the legal profession on antiques and fine art generally, providing valuations based upon auction and retail replacement. She is also able to give lectures to various bodies and insurance companies.
