Colin Read FRICS - Director
Colin Read is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has over 25 years’ experience as an art and antiques valuer working within the auction world at Sotheby’s and Nationwide before setting up his own company, Drummond Read Associates Limited, in 1992. For 15 years Colin was a senior lecturer on the BA Fine Arts Valuation course at Solent University, his subject specializations included ‘Art Theft & the Insurance Industry’.
Colin undertakes valuations for inheritance tax purposes for solicitors and private clients in the Hampshire area. He is able to offer a comprehensive service from valuation, advice on disposal and sale of contents, to arranging clearance and cleaning of the property.
